G&J got engaged in June. We did their engagement photos in July. They got married in August.
When Gwen initially reached out to me, she said, “I do not have a whole lot of expectations for our day aside from sharing our love with some of the people we love the most.”
Too often I see my couples get swept up in the details, the weather, the decor. G&J stripped their wedding of all of that. Their family and friends came together to make their day as special as possible. They got married in Gwen’s parents’ backyard. Gwen’s former employer catered all the amazing food. And friends of G&J built their beautiful wooden hexagon arch. The result was one of my favorite weddings and some of my favorite images from 2020.
