Alright, now Lauren & Ross’ day had all the key ingredients for a wonderful wedding day. A killer dress, some whimsical greenery and flowers, a sunshine-y July day ending with a remarkable sunset for those ever-sought-after golden hour photos.
But the reason I wanted to share this wedding with you all was because of the family. The moments. The hugs. The laughter. The joyful tears. Because when it comes down to it, that’s what matters most.
Some advice to my couples or any engaged couple out there: Don’t forget why you’re doing this. Yea, have fun planning the details, finding the dress that’s the perfect combo of sexy, yet timeless, picking out invites that are just so you and your partner. But don’t let yourself get so caught up in the details that you start to stress out, that you start planning a party for everyone else and forget, hey, I’m gonna marry my best friend. That’s pretty awesome. All that other stuff — ain’t no thang.
